Emma Jayne Corbould's transformation from pre-school teacher to alleged surveillance operative reads like a cautionary tale of activism gone rogue. She stands accused of planting covert cameras outside homes where children play, backed by an uncle described as a Manchester "hard man" who allegedly dispatches enforcers to deliver threats.

In September 2025, a hunt supporter near Wrexham made the disturbing discovery whilst checking his property. There was a camera planted in the bushes opposite his home. Understanding the gravity of what he'd found, especially given that his children could have been filmed, he immediately contacted police and documented the camera's location before removal.

What happened next revealed the brazen nature of Corbould's operation. Just two days later, on a country lane that rarely sees traffic, the victim heard a vehicle approach. His video evidence captured a woman, believed to be Corbould, casually retrieving the surveillance equipment and loading it into a car. The vehicle was fitted with trade plates, meaning it wasn't even legally insured for personal use.

The police were notified. Yet astonishingly, when Corbould and her boyfriend, fellow saboteur Brett Tully, were spotted the following week parked suspiciously near the same property, authorities had yet to interview them. Even more remarkably, despite clear video evidence of Corbould collecting the camera, the Crown Prosecution Service concluded they couldn't gather sufficient evidence to bring charges, a decision that left the family feeling abandoned by the justice system meant to protect them.

The Manchester Connection

For Corbould, sabbing and intimidation is a family business. Her uncle, Michael Pickersgill, is described as a "hard man" notorious in Manchester circles. In February 2025, according to hunt steward Andrew Bailey, Pickersgill dispatched seven men to the Wynnstay Kennels in an attempt to intimidate hunt staff. Later turning up at a hunt supporter’s home, one of the goons threatened, "next time we're not knocking."

This pattern of escalating intimidation from surveillance to implied threats paints a picture of coordinated harassment that goes far beyond legitimate protest.

The Pigeon Sanctuary Paradox

Adding another layer to Corbould's contradictory profile, she operates EJ's Pigeon and Dove Rescue and Rehab, a sanctuary that reveals the extent of her wildlife obsession. The facility's online presence makes a particular request of would-be visitors: "Please do not turn up unannounced."

The hypocrisy is extraordinary. A woman who demands privacy and advance notice before anyone approaches her property thought nothing of skulking through bushes to plant surveillance cameras outside a family home without warning or consent.

A Double Life

Away from the hidden cameras and Mancunian thugs, Corbould presents a very different face. She previously worked at St Clare's Pre-School, caring for young children, an irony not lost on the family whose children she allegedly surveilled. More controversially, she's rumoured to maintain an account on OnlyFans, the adult content subscription platform.

Partners in Crime: Brett Tully, the Drone Menace, well known to BTM

Corbould's boyfriend, Brett Tully, brings his own troubling record to this partnership. Tully has been repeatedly caught red-handed trespassing on private land.

More alarmingly, Tully is rumoured to operate drones in ways that flagrantly violate UK aviation safety regulations and create severe hazards for horses, riders, and members of the public. According to multiple reports from the field, Tully allegedly flies drones beyond the legal visual line of sight and at recklessly low altitudes over horses and riders, actions that could result in serious injuries.

The couple are believed to run the Facebook group Welsh Border Wildlife Protectors, a page that's become infamous for posting photos of children at legal hunt meets alongside inappropriate captions. The irony is stark: a woman who once cared for children at pre-school now allegedly plants surveillance cameras near family homes, whilst her boyfriend flies drones overhead, and together they're suspected of posting images of other people's children online with commentary that crosses every line of decency.
