Location: Alderton, Woodbridge

Tina Smith leads the Suffolk and Essex Hunt Sabs with a reputation for aggression that extends far beyond hunt disruption. By day, she responds to breakdown calls as an AA mechanic. By weekend, she coordinates saboteur operations across Suffolk and Essex. The irony of someone whose job involves helping stranded motorists spending her free time creating chaos isn't lost on those who've encountered her.

Smith's activism portfolio is long: Norwich Hunt Sabs, Suffolk Action for Wildlife, Just Stop Oil, Extinction Rebellion, plus demonstrations at the Grand National and even the Coronation. If there's an opportunity that involves disruption, Smith will be there.

A Taste for Violence

On 10 January 2026, Smith allegedly punched a 70-year-old hunt supporter who objected to being filmed without consent. Our sources report the elderly woman simply tried to stop the sabs from recording her - a reasonable request that Smith apparently answered with her fists. If you spot Smith in her AA uniform, exercise extreme caution. Someone willing to assault a pensioner over a camera isn't going to think twice about turning aggressive if challenged.

Just one week later, on 17 January 2026, Smith was captured on video at a Suffolk and Essex hunt meet unleashing a tirade of verbal abuse at legal hunt supporters. She called a member of the hunt a “stupid divvy c***” and then called her a “f***ing r*tard the f***ing lot of you”. We can only hope no children were within earshot of Smith's language.

Stalking and Harassment

Smith's obsession extends beyond Saturday meets. Our sources confirm she conducts weekly surveillance of the SVB kennels, tracking movements and monitoring activities. She's also been spotted waiting at Ipswich train station, targeting the huntsman as he arrives to be collected.

If you're at Ipswich station and see a silver Nissan in the car park, we strongly advise giving it a wide berth.

Criminal Conviction: Vandalism with a Cause

On 15 February 2021, Smith and fellow activist Susan Hagley spray-painted graffiti on Ipswich Borough Council headquarters. When caught, both denied any wrongdoing, claiming they were acting lawfully to protect property or life, invoking their rights to freedom of expression and assembly under Articles 10 and 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Suffolk Magistrates' Court wasn't buying it.

At trial on 29 September 2021, Council facilities management officer Adam Howes testified that removing the graffiti required two operatives using high-powered pressure washers for approximately three hours, at a cost of £273.57 to taxpayers.

Presiding magistrate Michael Sweeting ruled both women had been "reckless as to whether damage was caused." Smith received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £164.14 in compensation - a light sentence for someone who genuinely believed vandalising public property was a human right.
