Steven Milton is the leader of the Beds and Bucks Hunt Sabs who has spent years bothering the Oakley, Fitzwilliam, and Thurlow Hunts. Between that and his fledgling YouTube career, it’s a wonder he has any time for his day job at Continental Data Graphics Ltd., part of Boeing in Welwyn Garden City.
Milton has been a complainant in some of the hunting world’s most high-profile, and contentious, court cases. So it’s a surprise he hasn’t learnt the rules about contempt of court by now.
Trusted sources tell Behind The Masks that Milton attended the trial of two Oakley Hunt members in March 2025 and attempted to covertly record the proceedings on his phone.

The KC representing the Oakley duo promptly pointed this out to officers at Luton Magistrates' Court, who reportedly confronted Milton and arrested him. Contempt of court carries a maximum sentence of two years’ imprisonment and/or a fine.
The case is due to resume later this month at St Alban's Magistrates’ Court, though Milton has been barred from attending.
Milton is thought to be behind the YouTube channel 'Accidental Activist' - apropos for a sab who apparently doesn't know how to turn his phone off.
He previously ran a blog called 'More Than Just Badgers' in which he admitted to being charged with 19 counts of criminal damage amounting to £400 for tampering with snares.
Nor was this Milton's only run-in with the law. On 8 December 2023 Mr Justice Linden in the High Court fined Milton for breaching the terms of an injunction prohibiting trespass, granted to the Fitzwilliam Land Company and others.
